This is a project that encourages the child/ children to learn the Names and Attributes of Allah.  The student is has to choose 2 names of Allah.  They are supposed to define them and illustrate (within reason).

The alarm goes off at 4:45 am.Alhamdulillah Allah has allowed me to wake one more time and I am truly grateful. I usually try to read something beneficial in the morning before everyone wakes up. Since it is a week day, thoughts of how my day will go consume my brain. Insha Allah it will go well and without any chaos.

This activity will help children (and adults) Insha Allah learn the names of all the suwar in the Quraan.  It will also assist them in knowing which juz the suwar are in.  This is meant to be an independent activity; a control chart is included at the end of the document to assist with this.

From You Allah I come from & to You Allah I shall return

You created me to worship you alone

If not I truly may burn

(Verily, we the people of the Sunnah believe) that He (Allah), the one who is far removed from all imperfection is described with every attribute and name that He the Most Exalted has described Himself as having as well as those attributes and names that His messenger (sallAllaahu ‘alahi wa sallam) has described Him with; from the most beautiful names and highest most perfect attributes.

Masha Allah, Hajj has come and gone. I always like hearing Hajj stories. They are so touching; they re-ignite a great desire for longing to go. I hope to go one day, Insha Allah   When you see  the images of unity on hajj or just praying at the Haram your heart glows with hope and the reality  that our deen is the Haqq.

The following method (for memorizing the Qur'an) is distinguished due to its facilitation of a well grounded and strong memorization of the entire Qur'an in a relatively short period of time.

3: Al Ithhaar

Physical Education has an important role in our homeschooling experience. When we integrate this into our curriculum goals, we give our child/children so much than just physical activity.

On the authority of Abee Abdur Rahman Abdullah bin Umar bin al Khattab (Radi Allahu anhuma) he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (SallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) say,

“Islam is build on five: The Shahaadah (declaration of faith) That none has the right to be worshipped in truth except Allah and that Muhammad is His slave and messenger, the establishment of prayer, payment of Zakaah, Hajj to the house (i.e. Ka'bah) and to fast Ramadhan.”

 Sahih Bukhari and Muslim
