Why I would consider home school |
|
|
I would consider home school to benefit my child giving him an upper
hand in the real world. Not only will he profit by being taught at his
own level and pace, it gives him the opportunity to have the extra time
needed on any given subject depending upon the learning style used
best.
In a home school environment children are encouraged to explore their own interests and individual styles. Individual learning styles, personalities, schedules and skills are pertinent to home schooled children. These key factors instill self esteem and self confidence. In public schools their primary goal is to educate and they discourage socialization.
Most socialization takes place in the cafeteria or during recess which are the least supervised times. The values children pick up do not conform to better morals; instead the issues are bullying, drugs, sexual talk and actions, the establishment of an unfair pecking order. Children are pressured to wear the “right” clothes, listen to the “right” music, and shop at the “right” stores. The children that separate themselves as an individual are open to ridicule.
Public schools are inundated with un-Islamic ideas and theories. In today’s public school system the only religion taught is secular humanism, the only mention of God is during the salute of the American flag. Parents who home school have more opportunity to teach their children Islam.

Parents who home school have more opportunity to teach their children Islam.
The children are being taught evolutionist theories that aren’t Islamic, instead of applying the Islamic manners, morals and examples taught at home. Children begin to crave the acceptance of their peers which leads to them following the examples of those in Jahiliyyah.
Studies show in society home schooled children are more capable of thinking for themselves and aren’t dependent. This is the primary reason colleges actively recruit home schooled students, which is why I am considering home schooling for my child.
